Due to the natural state of this product it may contain some small, grain eating bugs. It's advised to store in a freezer for at least 24 hours to kill the bugs/larvae. We rotate multiple products (including this product) through a deep freezer here at BCT when needed. It's not a negative that there are bugs as they are a natural food source for Carp.
